Best AI agents that can actually do the work
An agent that needs you to approve every step is a chat window. This list is ordered by our score, which weighs evidence completeness and adoption — not by who has the loudest launch video.
Selection criteria — published, not implied
- 01The product runs without a human in the loop for at least one complete task
- 02The official page documents what it can touch (browser, files, APIs)
- 03There is a published way to start, free or paid
- 04We exclude anything that is only a chat interface with a tool menu

How to read this list
The score is our rubric, not a user average: evidence completeness (a readable page, a one-liner, a published price, platforms, a launch date) plus adoption where a registry number exists. A high score means “we could verify a lot”, not “this will work for you”. The check date next to each row is the honest cut-off.
What would change the ranking
A price change, a product shutting down, or a page that stops being readable. The crawler re-reads every URL daily and stores a text hash, so a silent rewrite is detected and flagged rather than discovered by a reader.
